I have a new award to give: Mum of the Year!
Even though it's only January, I doubt anyone is going to beat Aipoi Pauli.
As you can read in
this story, Aipoi has seen her
eldest daughter, Phyllein, just finish up as Head Girl of Otahuhu College.
The incoming Head Girl is Aipoi's next daughter, Pemita.
Note the outstanding achievement of Phyllein receiving a full scholarship to Auckland University - she is obviously a hard-working and intelligent young woman, and there is no doubt that is because her mum has instilled good work habits and attitudes into her children.
Proud mum? You're not kidding.
