Ronnie Biggs died, and I bet you heard about that. I bet you know that Dennis Rodman is back in North Korea, palling around with his murderous pal, Kim Jung Un-person-fever.
I bet you also heard that Wills, Kate & baby George are coming to New Zealand - how incredibly exciting!
Meanwhile, here's an obituary for Jimmy the Gent, Jimmy Flint, a bloke I bet you have not heard of, but who was a true-life bloody hero, whose death marks the end of one of the last of the WWII bomber heroes - a man worth more than ten thousand of all of the above names added together.
Read about his unbelievable bravery and remember it the next time you think you're having a bad day.
I am yet again reminded of another WWII pilot, the magnificent Aussie cricketer, Keith Miller, who was asked about the pressure of playing international cricket. He replied: "Pressure is a Messerschmitt up your arse, playing cricket is not".
They don't make 'em like that any more.
Cheerio, chaps!
