Protip #1: If you live in USA and have a child with mental illness, under no circumstances call the cops.
Protip #2: While in USA, never get arrested, no matter whether you intend to peacefully do as you're told or not.
Protip #3: Guns don't kill people - kids with guns kill people over Xbox.

This is where your freedom is, America. Enjoy.
How did the great experiment with personal freedom go so wrong?
The US Constitution is one of the great documents in all of history, and complete with its amendments, gives written word to human rights and personal freedom for all.
Now, of course, breaking those rights is commonplace, with several of the rights having no meaning at all any more. The right to privacy, charge before arrest, the right to a fair trial, indeed the right to any trial.
