Yet again we see the contradictory nature of both humans and the media.
On one hand, we're all shocked and disturbed by fat-shaming.
While on the other, we're all up in arms about how goddamned fat people are, using a veneer of "Oh, the cost!" as an excuse to.... fat shame!
So, if some slim chick tells people they don't look as hot as her because of their excess flesh, she's evil, but if a health spokesperson tells people they are fat and unattractive and courting disease, it's ok, because it's for their own good.
Simple.
