A plea for violence!
Do you know someone who is against vaccinating kids?
If so, please punch them in the mouth. Repeatedly.
I don't mind if it's male or female, they all deserve the same fate, and I never ever propose violence. In the case of anti-vax proponents, however, I consider them far less than human and would cheerfully beat the living crap out of anyone who tries to push their vile propaganda to encourage others to stop vaccinating children.
In our law, if you withhold medical care for a child, you can and will be held liable for child neglect and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Why do we not do that for children whose parents are so stupid they believe vaccination is bad? Those parents are worse than mere neglecting parents, because at least when parents neglect their own child, they are not endangering every other child on the planet, as anti-vax filth do.
I am breaking the law by promoting violence, but in my world, the violence I am promoting is a miniscule fraction of the violence perpetrated by the viruses anti-vaxers allow to thrive.
We know for a fact that some vaccinations do not "take" fully, and some children cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. Nothing in life is perfect, and medical science is no different. We rely on full immunisation to protect those few kids who have no protection, because as long as the disease is kept out of society, those children will not be exposed to the disease.
Unfortunately, due to consecutive namby-pamby governments which do not insist on full vaccination, we have arrived at a situation where up to 15% of children are not vaccinated fully, or not at all.
Each and every one of those parents is guilty of child endangerment on a global scale, and it is a disgrace of Brobdingnagian proportions that "first world" countries like New Zealand have lower vaccination rates than "third world" countries like Kenya, where almost every child is vaccinated.

Each of those machines is an iron lung, a machine breathing for children incapable of breathing alone due to muscle damage from polio.
This is what anti-vaxers would have us return to, sweeping 60 years of medical science under the mat.
If you are disgusted by the idea that we could return to this unthinkable scenario in the 21st century, then there are some things you can do to help:
Do not allow anti-vaxers to state their claims anywhere at any time. Shout them down, and as above, punch in the mouth if required.
Petition your children's schools to try to get unvaccinated children banned from the classroom - if parents want to stop their kids getting vaccines, keep them at home where they won't be able to kill other children.
Make sure your child's vaccinations are up-to-date.
If you mingle with people who travel to areas that are not polio-free, do not mingle with them unless they have certification of their vaccination status.
I said many months ago that we are counting down towards the first outbreak of polio in the western world for over half a century. It looks as though the clock has sped up a little and the outbreak is now going to happen in the very near future.
Don't let it happen near you.
(I have not bothered linking to the enormous amount of scientific literature which confirms that vaccines are safe, because it is well-established that wilful ignorance cannot be diluted with facts, so I'm trusting in the more direct method of shutting anti-vaxers' disgusting mouths by force.)
