NZ Herald and horse racing

I caught the Herald last year with a story on the New Zealand Trotting Cup, in which the sub-editor used a picture of the Melbourne Cup start.

It ought to be obvious to even a moron that trotting and galloping are utterly different, plus they do have a team of racing writers, so the error is quite unforgiveable.

Yesterday - probably the same sub-editor - ran a story on trotting driver Dexter Dunn cleaning up all the races for an incredible 200 wins this season; and a punter who's getting rich following him.

Unbelievably, the Herald has pulled the same gaffe again, with the picture & story exactly as copied from the Herald:
