I discussed rape culture some months before the "roastbusters" business broke, pointing out that real blokes don't rape.

Any man worthy of the name knows that "No" means no, and will cease and desist from any further advances. Regardless of how horny a bloke is, he is man enough to shrug it off and walk away.

Vile pieces of scum that I cannot class as men are like a different species - they won't take a no, they will take advantage of a passed-out female, and they will rape and sexual assault.

While there are things women can do to protect themselves from rape, it is important to remember one main fact: rape is never, ever, the woman's fault. A woman can be walking down the road naked & drunk, but she is not asking to be raped.

Unfortunately, even families can be judgemental and even worse when someone has been raped - and I say someone, because not all rapes are committed against women.
