Here's an easy one for you!
When the government introduced it seizure of assets legislation, enabling profits from drug-related crime to be returned to the government by seizing assets bought with drug profits, it was firmly promised that the money would be spent on drug harm-reductions programs, both prevention and treatment.
The government has received $10M so far, with another ~$30-40M to come from sales not yet finalised.
Guess how much of that $10M has been put towards drug education, treatment or avoidance programmes? Go on, guess!
If you guessed "Nil" or $0-00, give yourself a Crunchie bar - not a single cent of the ten million bucks has been used in any anti-drug capacity whatsoever.
