I have written a time or two about the "Religion of Peace", or as we like to call it: Islam.
Not only is it warped by mullahs to encourage suicide bombing, even in its unadulterated form it is misogynistic, anti-semitic and anti-heretic. A heretic being anyone who does not adhere to the rules laid down by a syphilitic child-rapist - the original Muhammad. Note that his name is usually accompanied by the phrase: "Peace & Blessings be upon Him."
This is the point where sensitive readers should go and read about a tamer subject, because the following includes graphic accounts of the treatment of female prisoners across the islamic world.
First up, women in Iraqi jails. This inhuman story on the treatment of women in Iraq is not a joke; it is backed up by the ultra-respectable and venerated (in the West) Human Rights Watch.
Beatings, torture and multiple pack-rapes are the order of the day. Aren't you proud that New Zealand allowed itself to pulled into a coalition to depose the evil Saddam Hussein, because things are so much better now he's gone? There's even more irony in US soldiers having been involved in many cases of rape before they took their troops home.
Meanwhile, Iran & Saudi Arabia are as bad, with hideous crimes against humanity carried out daily, executions for spurious reasons, and of course, pack-rape. Always the pack-rape - I have to wonder whether there's an inherent weakness in males who join armies, because rape has existed as a means of reinforcing victories since the first Ug picked up a club and slew his rival Gug to get at his female.
There is no easy answer to the problem, but it amuses me that there is no HART, no boycott proposed of Saudi petrol, no boycott of Olympic Games because Iran is a misogynist paradise far more evil than South Africa's Apartheid regime ever was, and the likes of John Minto spend their time protesting at the appearance of one harmless and innocent Israeli girl at a tennis game while driving their cars powered by Saudi petrol.
