Meanwhile, the religion of peace continues to impress the world with its insight, humanity and rationality in a difficult world. Taking Deuteronomy to its limits, the islamic courts in Nigeria have only sentenced a man to 20 lashes and a fine for a gay sex act seven years ago. Had it not been a one-off, with extreme remorse, the man would have been stoned to death.
Remember, this is Nigeria, not Colorado, and being stoned to death is not a good thing.
The islamic courts have authorised arrest and torture to find other evil faggots, and will no doubt sentence most of them to death.

Update: April 2014 - it is now punishable by life imprisonment to be gay in Uganda.
