Fluoride: The End

I recall as a young teen at the time fluoride was first added to water supplies. Even then, back in the early '70s, there were plenty of antis, railing against the science and making all sorts of idiotic claims about the harmful effects of fluoride.

I've written in the past about the morons who are STILL crying about fluoride, despite now having over half a century's lack of harm and benefit to teeth to study.

Make no mistake, the case for fluoride is proven beyond any doubt, and if you doubt the science, you are a complete fucking idiot. It is that simple, yet Hamilton and other towns are still struggling with the concept.

In a rare move, I must tip my hat to the government for starting to remove councils' power to decide on fluoride, instead giving it to Health Boards. This is excellent news, and a victory for science and rationalism. There is nothing stopping the Luddite morons who want to drink unfluoridated water - they can buy it at 10,000 times the price I pay for my water.

I know nothing about Health Minister Jonathan Coleman, but he deserves a hearty round of thanks for showing some balls and removing the opportunity for anti-science idiots to control how the rest of us apply public health measures.

Bravo!
