I have written on several occasions how the present state of constant war (war on drugs, war on terror) and the legislation enacted because of that has led us into an Orwellian nightmare of 1984 proportions that few people are aware of, or care about.
Nothing has changed, but it's nice to see that some other people can see the irony and connection between the state of affairs c. 2016 and Orwell's book, written almost 70 years ago.
